Trafficmaster is an established technology company focusing on satellite navigation and traffic information. In 1999 Trafficmaster launched their stolen vehicle recovery system - Trackstar Plus.

Rac Trackstar Plus uses GPS technology along with advanced motion sensors built into the unit. The unit is discretely installed in any one of the numerous possible locations in the vehicle.

In the event of the vehicle being moved illegally, the motion sensor sends a signal to the Rac Trackstar control centre, who will confirm the theft with the owner. Once the theft is confirmed, Rac Trackstar will liase with the police to provide the vehicle’s location and assist recovery.

A key feature to Rac Trackstar Plus is the ability to remove the unit and re install it into another vehicle.
