DRIVERS was founded in 1985 in Glasgow’s Great Western Road as a retailer of performance parts – in those days Weber carbs., cam-kits and Minilite wheels! As the products evolved, we added workshop facilities to offer design and installation of performance products, and audio and security products. In 2002 we moved to larger premises in the city centre’s Charing Cross, combining showroom and workshop, and are the largest specialist facility of its kind in Scotland. Our wide product range and workshop facilities allow us to offer our customers everything from simple installs to designing and creating complete vehicle commissions. Recent projects include demo vehicle for SONY UK., ‘complete AV + PC experience’ in three Renault Master vans for an educational authority, concept cars for Cancer Awareness Charity & Disney for Nissan UK. Over the years we have carefully selected our product ranges to provide the best balance of quality/cost. We believe only in fitting products that will genuinely enhance the vehicle and maintain its integrity. Our workshop staff are highly trained to industry standards – our skills include suspension and alignment, ECU re-mapping and tuning, exhaust & induction fabrication and fitting, audio and electronics installation, woodworking and upholstery.
