The Dension Gateway 100 is a vehicle specific interface that provides digital audio and full control of an Ipod from a standard factory headunit (text capability is dependant on headunit). The Gateway 100 connects via the cd changer port on the rear of the factory radio thus providing the best audio signal possible ( this is far clearer than FM based products). The Gateway 100 is compatible with a wide range of vehciles and provides an affordable, high quality solution for Ipod integration. The Ipod can be connected by using the Dension Active Cradle which mounts on the dash or by the Dension Dock cable which allows the Ipod to be hidden in a compartment. | |  | | GATEWAY 300 | |
The Dension Gateway 300 is similar in operation and connection to the Gateway 100 but has USB and Aux (3.5mm jack) input in addition. These additional inputs allow virtually any audio source ( flash drives, USB mass storage devices) to be played thorough the factory stereo system.
| | | | | |  | | GATEWAY 500 | | The Dension Gateway 500 is one of the most advanced interfaces designed for fibre optic audio systems using MOST or D2B technology increasingly common in todays prestige vehicles - Porsche, Audi, Mercedes, BMW - providing full control of Ipod, USB media and Aux sources. The Gateway 500 provides simple operation and control of albums, songs and playlists through the existing audio system and steering controls (where fitted). With selected vehicles it is possible to retain the factory cd changer and switch between Ipod, USB, Aux and changer via the provided switch. It is also possible to integrate bluetooth handsfree through the factory system using the optional BTA5100 interface. This allows simple connection of any Bluetooth enabled phone providing caller ID and phone book transfer (phone dependant) to be displayed.Using the optional AV extender interface allows the video output from a video Ipod to be played on an external monitor.
