| ALPINE’s navigation systems are still regarded as being the ‘best of the best’. Amongst the first in the market-place, ALPINE have dominated the technology end of navigation, with high-accuracy, processor-power, ease of use and vehicle integration. Alpine have just launched the future for in car navigation - the NEW hardrive based NVE-M300P navigation system! Providing european map coverage with over 6 million points of interest, easy inituitive menu and on screen graphics and simple installation thanks to the OnPoint GPS system which does away with the need for speed pulse connection from the vehicle . OnPoint uses satellite positioning, gyro sensor to determine vehicle position and in built accelerometer to measure vehicle speed. The NVE-M300P is compact in size allowing a neat hideaway install, as, unlike conventional DVD or CD based systems the user does not need access to the processor. Compatible with the following Alpine units : IVA-D106, IVA-W505, IVA-D310, IVA-D300, IVA-W205, IVA-W200, IVA-D105, TME-M770. The processor NVE-N099P is half-din sized DVD drive, and includes the system’s gyro-scope. The processing power is ten-times greater than portable nav systems. It is compatible with ALPINE’s touch-screen units (motorised audio, stand-alone screen or double-DIN unit). The recently introduced VEHICLE-HUB allows the use of ALPINE nav into many OE screen systems e.g. Jaguar, Mercedes, BMW etc. The DVD software contains NavTeq map coverage of Europe, including Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland. Voice commands in 12 languages. Once connected to your choice of ALPINE screen, operating the system can be touch-screen or with the supplied remote-control. The image on the screen can be 3D, horizontal or vehicle-facing. The map image can be divided in to map images of different scales, or a map and intersection guidance, or map and 3D motorway junction guidance. On entering a destination, the usual preferences can be chosen – in addition there is an ‘area to avoid’ feature, allowing the ability to ring fence areas. Every destination calculation offers three routes – shortest, quickest and alternative. Cynics beware – this certainly costs more money than some, but once you’ve used ALPINE, you’ll understand why it’s the best………….. For more details call us today on 0141 332 5800 Back to home page> |
